The Detroit Windsor Tunnel is an international border crossing that connects exciting downtown Detroit, Michigan with the charming city of Windsor, Ontario. Whether for work or play, traveling the tunnel is a unique experience under the Detroit River. All travelers must go through customs on both sides of the border. Both sides of the tunnel are now cashless but welcome all major credit cards and Nexpress® toll passes. Toll rates are available here.

Nexpress® Toll is a pre-paid account allowing customers to cross the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel quicker and easier than ever. With Nexpress®, you simply drive through any toll lane and the gate will open by reading a windshield sticker on your vehicle. Your account will be deducted per trip in your preferred currency.
